Can I evoke the same emotion in the viewer that was felt in the space?

My sustained investigation evidence of practice, experimentation and revision was based on this question.  I practiced using mixed media for my self-portrait which got me thinking that I would like to use a variety of media through the year. I also wanted to evoke a feeling of emotion within my pieces.  I added myself to the images to add more emotion to the pieces. By adding additional people besides myself into my paintings, it adds another element of emotion within my pieces. I was able to amplify the emotions that were portrayed within each piece. Some of these emotions were tranquility, joy, and sadness.  I noticed in the end, I was able to begin to evoke similar emotions in my audience that was portrayed within my artwork.  Throughout the many critics I had with my peers during the year, they helped me evolve my question to what it is now.
